The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. This project has potential to become one of the largest standalone iron ore processing centres in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore.

A multi-million dollar investment has been made towards an impressive fleet of mobile equipment, including the market’s latest models of dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, drills and haul trucks.
With a focus on reliability and quality, these Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter roles will be dedicated on delivering world class maintenance of our mobile equipment, and be a key driver in continuously improving and standardising work practices.
We are eager to engage with energetic and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters who have demonstrated large-scale equipment maintenance experience on Caterpillar Ancillary Equipment and/or Blast Hole Drill Rigs and Large Hydraulic Excavators. Your expertise in problem solving & diagnostics, coupled with your ability to communicate and build strong team relationships will make you an ideal candidate. Your focus on continuous improvement along with your ability to coach and mentor will be highly regarded.
A Trade Qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Fitting and a valid Driver’s licence is essential.
You ideally must be located in Western Australia or be prepared to move to Western Australia for this opportunity. Further information will be provided throughout the recruitment process.
