The Ground Transportation Systems & Secure Communications and Information Systems (GTS-SIX) Division, designs, integrates and supports command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, including mission systems, support systems, systems of systems integration.
As a Logistics Coordinator within our Secure Information Systems team you will coordinate logistics operations via computerised processes and tools to ensure the delivery of program obligations within the scope, schedule, budget and quality standards, as well as ensure high customer satisfaction.
Specifically you will:
- Handle internal project logistics including control and movements of material within the site, both Thales and Customer owned
- Develop proactive customer relationships
- Manage time and resources effectively to ensure work is completed efficiently accurately e.g. through appropriate task allocation
- Identify critical activities and tasks & adjust priorities when appropriate
- Help support ongoing process improvement in the Material and Logistics process areas
- Follow regulations and procedures, as well as reporting obligations and standards
- Recognise hazards and maintain awareness of conditions that affect employee safety
- Provide support to the shared services warehouse where required on an Ad Hoc basis
The successful candidate will demonstrate previous experience within a similar role. Additionally you will be an excellent team player who is able to facilitate the development of others’ knowledge and skills, provide timely feedback and guidance to help them reach goals. You will also have excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to look at day to day activities and holistic responsibilities. The successful candidate will also be able to support and company with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and framework and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to self, colleagues, visitors and/or the environment and to ensure a safe work practises at all times
Due to the nature of the role, candidates need to hold Australian security clearance minimum Baseline to be eligible.
This role may need you to work with information covered by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR).
