We are seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst to join our dynamic team in our Quality Control function in Parkville (Australia). This opportunity is a full time 12 month fixed term role and will support the teams within the Microbiology Department to enable testing of product in accordance with the code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Reporting to the Quality Control Microbiology Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Perform product and critical utilities testing, incubate and read environmental monitoring plates
Perform media fill inspections for IVV and PNS
Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with the approved procedures
Co-ordinate the review, update and issue of QC documentation
Assist with investigations of Out of Specification (OOS) test results, invalid assays or when unusual data is observed as required
Ensure the CSL health and safety procedures and business policies are followed
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have:
Tertiary qualification in Microbiology or related discipline
Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in production or quality area
Strong technical understanding of Pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or testing processes
Knowledge of cGMP regulations and Quality Management Systems
Ability to accurately maintain testing records
Ability to use computer systems for data entry and inquiry functions
Experience in general assay preparation
Strong scientific report writing skills
