About the role
As a Discharge Officer you will be part of our Post Settlement Loan Activity function servicing all 3rd Party Channels. Your primary focus will be to complete all discharge tasks required as received from our Mortgage Managers, Brokers and Customers, ensuring the Discharge of Mortgage requests are accurately processed in accordance with policy and procedures. This includes:
- Preparing and calculating accurate payout quotations
- Preparing and completing discharge requests
- Handling both inbound and outbound phone calls to internal and external stakeholders in the discharge process.
This is a full time position available until the end of January 2022. While it would be great for you to be based in our Adelaide head office where you will benefit from modern facilities and collaborative workspaces, we are happy for you to be based anywhere, provided you have access to one of our head or regional offices, OR a home office with a good internet connection.
We are seeking someone who is as passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and being a supportive team member as the rest of our team.
You will also be a confident communicator with both internal and external customers, have excellent time management s kills, the ability to be flexible and be the sort of person who looks for continuous improvement opportunities in current processes. You will also have a high level of numerical and computer literacy skills, accurate and efficient data entry skills and a high level of attention to detail .
Exposure to a lending environment and an understanding of the requirements for the discharge of a mortgage along with some experience using Banking platforms such as RFSA, PSP, PEXA, BPM & LendFast (or similar systems) would be advantageous.
