The Strategic Business Innovation Group is responsible for creating vision, strategies, purposeful policies, and a detailed plan to continue moving the department into the digital world. The Transformational Change Team sits within the Business Innovation Group and works with business areas to drive change and innovation across the organisation.

We are currently looking for a self-driven professional who has a proven track record in driving change in large organisations. In this role, you will contribute to building DMIRS into a high-performance, innovative organisation by playing a pivotal role in supporting the Department’s ‘Generate’ program, and the Department’s collaboration, problem-solving and innovation program. In this role, you will take on custodianship of the problem-solving pipeline process, including having oversight of the portfolio of initiatives.
You will play a critical role in progressing a range of continuous improvement, step change and game-changing initiatives using creative techniques like design thinking, agile and customer-centric design. You will possess high level organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills to support transformational change initiatives. Building productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders is also vital to your success in this role.
The transformational team is at the forefront of testing new ways of working and fully embraces flexible work practices, including part-time hours and working from home.
This position is located in East Perth, (however, you may be required to work at other sites as required).
