Senior Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced account manager with a strong history of working with enterprise customers. The ideal candidate has sales experience with a terrific reputation for over-achieving quota by growing revenues in existing customers as well as penetrating new accounts. The Account Manager should be a self-starter who is prepared to execute against a strategic account plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and some technical background that enables them to drive engagement at the CXO level as with technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and has strong communication and presentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined sales territory.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Contribute to and execute against comprehensive account and territory plans.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, software/infrastructure solutions (Application development, Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
  • Develop case studies.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Expect moderate travel.


  • 7 years+ experience in technology related sales
  • Proven track record in identifying and pursuing large number of accounts over the phone, in the field and through partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets in a quota-carrying role
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.


  • University degree
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus but not a requirement.
  • Target orientated, creative, customer focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
