About the team

The Infrastructure and Place division is charged with the delivery of an ambitious and once-in-a generation program of public infrastructure works. We are developing and delivering smart, integrated and sustainable infrastructure and places that are valued by our customers and communities.

The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join us on the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project and shape the future of NSW. Reporting to the Project Director, this is a career defining opportunity to be part of an iconic and complex, multi-billion dollar major road infrastructure project. You would be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered to best practice standards, in compliance with approvals, on a commercially sound basis and to the satisfaction of key stakeholders and the community.

What you will be involved in:

  • Developing and managing project plans, budget and risk management plans, ensuring operational excellence
  • Determining project schedule and activities throughout the project lifecycle and managing implementation of the project plan to meet scope, time, cost, quality and safety requirements
  • Contributing to procurement requirements, tender assessment and evaluation, managing the administration of the contract, approved proposed variations and resolution of contractrual disputes
  • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of Engineers, building up future team capability

About you

You have demonstrated strong project management and contract administration skills and experience with the full project life-cycle, ensuring that deliverables meet client requirements. Prior experience managing the delivery of major road infrastructure projects will be highly regarded. You possess excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder mangement skills as well as a highly developed commercial acumen.
