What will you do?

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a Test Analyst, Digital to join us in our rapiding growing Ecommerce space. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain high quality website, working in a cross-functional Agile software delivery team in line with Target’s values.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analysis and problem-solving skills,high attention to detail and must be a team player open to working in a highly collaborative environment


Key responsibilities are outlined below:


  • Build best practices and introduce tools to better the testing processes in the teams
  • Develop test plans using business analysis artefacts and technical solutions
  • Execute in-sprint functional and automated testing
  • Execute regression testing prior to releases
  • Identify, triage and manage defects
  • Mentor junior testers
  • Build relevant reporting to ensure the quality and breadth of testing
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering projects under an AGILE methodology, excellent understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle and the application of quality processes and a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging technology and their potential business opportunities.


Other experience required to be successful are:


  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience with manual testing on multi-browser and multi-device
  • Experience with test planning, execution and defect management
  • Experience in testing Single Page Web and React based applications
  • Skilled in API based testing using a variety of tools (eg. Postman, SOAPUI)
  • Experience writing automation tests in sprint using Java or other technologies for UI and WS
  • Adept at Test planning and using Test Management Tools for facilitating testing in Agile teams
