About the role

As a Product Manager in the area of Smart Fulfilment, you will play an integral part in bringing automation in our Store and Customer Fulfilment Centre network. This role will be responsible for adding more fulfilment capacity, improving operational metrics and driving efficiencies across our operations. Responsible for ensuring our teams can deliver excellent customer satisfaction when fulfilling Online orders. This role will deliver change to improve and streamline across process, equipment, people and technology, and will require robust coordination between online, partners, operations, logistics and store teams to deliver.

This is an extremely fast paced, successful and driven team. The successful applicant must have the passion and commitment to improving processes and driving efficiencies that feed in to the overall customer first approach.

Who you are

  • Maintain the overall roadmap, including ongoing product strategy, product planning, roadmaps and prioritisation

  • Develop business processes together with internal customers to support the overall strategy

  • Ownership of resource planning and mapping across initiatives, ensuring all resources are fully occupied.

  • Work closely with internal technology and operations teams and external partners to define milestones and ensure on-time and in-scope delivery.

  • Manage prioritisation and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities

  • Collaborate and influence stakeholders to form an agreed product roadmap for WooliesX products and platforms

  • Facilitate communication and reporting to the Executive and leadership teams on the product agenda and prioritisation of product initiatives

  • Track, measure and be accountable for achieving product KPIs and success measures at the individual product and portfolio levels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ownership of suite of Products & Capabilities in eCom aligned to introducing and improving automation

  • Financial accountability of Squad investment against value outcome creation

  • Own agile product development process from product management point of view

  • Develop and implement product strategies aligned with the WooliesX and Woolworths Group strategies

  • Ownership of the Product Suite Roadmap and Digital Capability to ensure Woolworths remains at the forefront of Digital Retail in Australia

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the product, market, and competition

  • Collect and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and products

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the market place and identify future technology and/or product opportunities that can be fed into the strategy

  • Identify areas for growth and create strategic product line roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features

  • Analyse potential partner relationships for the product and lead the effort to integrate our applications with other leading industry systems

  • Previous working experience as a Product Manager / Owner 4+ years

  • Supply chain management experience is a plus

  • Experience in managing stakeholders from multiple teams

  • Proven track record of managing Product Roadmaps, and incremental Customer, Business and Technology benefits.

  • Excellent knowledge of eCommerce technologies

  • Experience in API integration

  • Experience in Digital organisations with a track record of improving the Customer Experience, and assisting customers across Direct, On-Canvas, eCommerce and Instore

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodology for product development

  • Strong influencing skills and leadership skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Innovative thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills

  • Creative thinker with a vision

  • Attention to detail.
