About the role

We have several permanent opportunities for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our (Medium Vehicle) team on a 7 day on, 7 day off roster at Blackwater Mine.

About you

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes\:

  • Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical or Mechanical – Diesel Fitting
  • Standard 11/BMA Core (Certificate of Attainment) within 5 years
  • Coal Board Medical preferred
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry within 2 years
  • Experience with diagnostics/fault finding, general maintenance and servicing on dewatering pumps, gensets, medium vehicle and ancillary equipment
  • Vehicle brake testing and monitoring
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Maintain the well-equipped workshop including updated critical spares list in site store
