An exciting opportunity has presented itself to join the IT nbn Team as a Hybrid Cloud SME (Hybrid Cloud Architect).
A bit about your role
The Hybrid Cloud SME role is a part of nbn’s Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure and is a senior strategic, business-oriented position specialising in the Public Cloud technologies and will focus on architecting Cloud solutions and on-boarding nbn’s IT functional teams or business units.
In this position, you will lead the transformational change, define and execute Cloud technology
strategies and assure alignment to business product and service lines which will also include cost optimisation, risk assessment and mitigation.
As part of the role, your accountabilities may include engaging with customers to understand their business drivers, producing technical designs using AWS products and technologies along with an ongoing responsibility for upgrading and improving nbn’s cloud solutions, service migrations and service performance.
In addition to this, the role will apply the best industry, security and vendors’ standards through design and integrate activities to deliver automated solutions.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring a range of experience such as virtualisation, networking design, automation of AWS cloud solutions, regulatory compliance, and security within multi-cloud platforms.
You will have demonstrated leadership capabilities, have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Experience in Container Management Technologies, DevOps technologies, CI/CD processes and Linux would be highly favourable. Developing and executing IT technical roadmaps and providing technical system solutions, along with any AWS certifications would also be advantageous.
