The position will focus on software projects for the flagship Iress product, Xplan. The work will revolve around making full use of the latest cloud technologies to develop new modules and functionality for our clients, as well as opportunities to refactor existing components to make use of updated architectures.
The role requires demonstrated excellence in software engineering, teamwork and communication with a client-focused mindset. Central to this role is the ability to work effectively with people and teams inside and outside their squad, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you will be doing
Delivering high quality projects with involvement from inception to deployment
A focus on data-driven value
Liaise with Business Analysts, User Experience, Development and Quality Assurance team members to clarify technical requirements and implement the required functionality
Contribute to Iress’s continual drive for Process Improvement
What you will need
Experience with AWS is desirable but not essential
Strong analytical, problem solving skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work with Agile methodologies
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new ways of collaborative working in a cross functional team
