About the Project

Overseen by managing contractor Laing O’Rourke, the Osborne North Development Project will see the construction, refurbishment and modernisation of purpose-built facilities specifically designed to enable the most effective build of Australia’s Future Submarine fleet. The design and construction activities for the new Future Submarine Construction Yard will be incredibly important and complex. The project will transform the naval shipbuilding and ship sustainment industry here in Australia.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join us on the Osborne North Development Project in Adelaide, SA. Reporting to the Quality and Completions Leader you will manage Quality aspects of the project to ensure all works are completed in accordance with required contract conditions, standards/regulations and company procedures. You will positively influence the quality culture and performance of the project by engaging with the project team, client and supply chain, and drive successful outcomes for the project. This is a great opportunity to join a people-centric Tier 1 Constructor on a landmark project – right here in Adelaide!

Key responsibilities

You will manage Quality for the project to ensure works meet required contract conditions, standards/regulations and company procedures. You will drive a high-performance quality culture, all whilst adhering to Laing O’Rourke’s safety policies and procedures.

About you

Expeirence in a similar Quality Manager role, sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Industry Codes and Procedures. Previous experience with Project Docuent Management Systems such as Asite. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications: Cert of Attainment in Quality Management or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar, and Internal Auditor Qualification.
