As the Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for directing work priorities for preventive and breakdown maintenance of all surface and underground fixed plant Equipment. You will also be working with the highest priority to safety at all times, striving to complete work within agreed timeframes and in doing so, supporting Leinster by being industry leaders in maintenance.
- Previous supervisory experience, coupled with the ability to demonstrate a good level of communication skills across all levels of the organisation
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven experience in a mining or maintenance environment
- Dealing with all aspects of Fixed Plant Equipment.
- Underground experience is desired
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical circuit flow diagrams would be preferred
- Strong orientation to safe work practices, demonstrating a "can do" attitude
- Necessary qualifications include an A class drivers licence or national equivalent.
- A Mechanical Trade Certificate at accredited institution
- Computer literacy is essential and exposure to 1SAP would be beneficial.

Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The operation sources nickel ore from various ore bodies before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. Employees can stay residential or commute to and from Perth on a fly in / fly out roster or from regional areas on a drive in / drive out roster.
