The Epicurean Chef De Partie will work in a custom made theatre-style kitchen that enables interaction between chefs and guests. Pairing this exquisite setting with an inventive and new approach to traditional buffets, Epicurean will set a new benchmark in buffet-style dining. In this hands on role, your creativity and passion for food will be channelled into creating a dining experience that will turn the concept of a buffet restaurant into a new and exciting event.
Reporting to the Chef De Cuisine, you will be required to train & mentor your team whilst liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including senior level management. Your advanced time management, organisational and task delegation skills will ensure efficient daily kitchen operation
What we’re looking for in our Chef De Partie:
In depth knowledge of Asian cuisines
Prior experience working in a buffet restaurant is desired but not essential
Ability to manage a small team of cooks
Authentic Menu creations across breakfast/Lunch and dinner services.
Immaculate personal presentation standards as this is a customer facing position
Demonstrated experience in a luxury Hotel or buffet operation is imperative
Knowledge of Forbes 5 Star standards is highly desirable
Ability to create innovative menus that create a difference to the traditional buffet experience
