Thales Australia Vehicle & Tactical Systems exists to develop protected mobility vehicles, developing specialised products to meet specific requirements not catered for elsewhere. As a domain, the goal of Protected Vehicles is to develop an organisation that provides world class Protected Vehicle solutions and through life support to defence organisations around the world. This will include the support and improvement of current Bushmaster vehicle variants and the development of new products.
Working in our Bendigo facility which is the hub for the design and assembly of our protected vehicles, you would be responsible for ensuring our Hawkei protected vehicle product is manufactured in accordance with all prescribed quality requirements, and meet all customer expectations.
- Performing in process inspections
- Conducting process verification audits
- Manage nonconforming product and liaise with production team leaders to resolve issues
- Producing Corrective Action Reports
- Attend review meetings and other quality related meetings as required
- TAFE qualification in Quality or related field or similar industry experience
- Medium rigid truck licence
- Strong attention to details and be solutions orientated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passport to Quality Management or Cert 4 in Quality Management (advantageous)
- CAD drafting experience (advantageous)
Police check and medical check will be required for this role
