CONDITION MONITORING TECHNICIAN – FIXED TERM OPPORTUNITY

About the Role

We have an opportunity for experienced, highly skilled and safety focussed Condition Monitoring Technician to join our LNG Projects Team . This role is within the existing Maintenance team and responsible for the condition monitoring and vibration analysis of existing plant to maintain a safe, reliable & efficient LNG plant.

Please note, this role is local to the Gladstone Region and NO FIFO or relocation offer is available.

About You

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes\:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Mechanical
  • Construction Induction
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP - preferred
  • Work at Heights Certification – preferred
  • Confined Space Certification - preferred
  • Drivers Licence – preferred
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, diagrams, drawings and specifications
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great time management skills
  • The ability to work within a team and unsupervised

Role tasks and responsibilities

  • Collection of oil samples
  • Offline vibration data collection using SCOUT 100 and 140
  • Continuous improvement to condition monitoring related Procedures
  • Review laboratory analyses for oil/fluid samples
  • Collaborate with engineers and specialists in the development of maintenance rectification plans and raising related notifications
  • Assist Engineers and Specialists with Failure investigations
  • Participate in the development of dashboards and visualization tools for condition monitoring
  • Assist engineers in Transient analysis & evaluation of vibration and temperature data on critical and non-critical machines (where applicable)
  • Be willing to carry out Mechanical duties such as servicing, repairs etc. during Shutdowns and Rate Reductions. Expected to be up to 15% of time
