UX Designer

As a start-up business inside Australia's largest liquor retailer, EndeavourX aims to bring the best of Endeavour Drinks to our customers, powered by our team, technology and data. To achieve our customer 1st strategy, we have combined the Digital & eCommerce businesses for Dan Murphy’s and BWS to transform the customer experience under one brand - EndeavourX.

EndeavourX Hub is based 5 minutes walk from Central station with spaces for different activities such as collaboration, brainstorming or just chilling out playing ping pong. At EndeavourX, we also believe in flexible working, and our teams also have the option to work from home.

You will have a passion for delivering great customer experiences and ensuring our propositions are brought to life through engaging digital experiences. Improving the user experience across all customer channels, you will optimise the customer journey to achieve key digital experience targets.

About The Opportunity

As a UX Designer in the Experience Design Chapter at Endeavour Drinks, you will play a pivotal role in designing software and platforms that meet the needs of our customers. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

Reporting to the Chapter lead, the UX designer will be a team player working in cross-functional team to help design a better user experience. From conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, to translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, this role really is an exciting chance to make an impactful difference to Endeavour Drinks services, features, and propositions.

The Roles Key Objectives Include

  • Ensure the scope, interactions and end to end experience of the digital products are satisfying customer needs by working across Technology, Analytics, Operations, Content, Squads and Site Ops teams
  • Partner with other designers and team members to answer design research questions and translate findings into user interface
  • Use research, insights and data to inform and iterate on all design decisions
  • Lead user testing and stakeholder reviews to validate the efficacy of these solutions, with support from dedicated design researchers
  • Be the custodian of digital experience guidelines and ensure projects are delivered on time and effectively
  • Take a strategic, customer-first approach to everything you do
  • Work as part of the team to deliver positive customer sentiment and great business outcomes

About You

  • You’re driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a tribe of great people. Whatever you love - design, technology, engineering, you’re active in the community that sits around it.
  • Ideally experience in Loyalty Programs of work
  • Experience in conducting UX research and implementing the insights into design
  • Demonstrated experience across both Website, android and IOS platforms
  • You have a human-centered approach and proven experience in delivering design outcomes based on human needs.
  • Proven experience in the design and launch of new products/services and transformational projects
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • You deal with complexity by collaborating with colleagues, listening to customers, testing ideas and continuously learning

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years' experience working on end to end UX processes for large scale experiences
  • Strong facilitation and workshopping skills
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies
  • Working within AGILE delivery teams and methodologies
  • Data driven in your approach
  • Experience presenting and communicating designs and research and design milestones - peers and senior stakeholders
  • University Degree in Psychology/Engineering/Design or applicable UX academies
  • Strong experience building relationships with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • 'Loyalty', Media or FMCG industry experience preferred
  • Keen interest in CX and customer innovation
