About the role:

  • Shunt operations and yard movements
  • Provision, service and clean rollingstock/locomotives
  • Lower level maintenance on rollingstock/locomotives
  • Perform crew car checks and cleaning
  • General yard tidy up and maintenance as required
  • 24/7 Rotating Roster

About you:

  • Valid Class C Drivers Licence - Manual
  • Extensive Rail Background with Shunt Qualifications
  • Experience working at the Callemondah yard (Preferred but not Essential)
  • Substantial knowledge of operations area rules and regulations, WHS and Dangerous Goods
  • High level interpersonal skills and the ability to foster high level relationships
  • Substantial knowledge of safe movement, planning and control of trains and on track vehicles
