About the role

Joining our multi-disciplinary HSE Team, you will provide specialist advice, coaching, mentoring and monitoring for a diverse range of HSE issues, and support the drive towards a renewable, fit for purpose and agile transmission network that is built for the future.
You will play a critical part in supporting field teams in delivering construction projects and maintenance work by providing expert HSE advice to a range of stakeholders, as well as input and assistance in the continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes.
Your previous experience working as a Safety professional on large scale construction projects, ideally within the utilities industry, will give you the foundation that you need to succeed in this role.
With a proactive and consultative approach, you have demonstrated success in supporting HSE investigations, learning activities, audits and inspections to ensure the achievement of safety objectives and to develop a positive safety culture.
The below is also essential:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in HSE or similar discipline.
- C-Class driver’s licence, with the ability to travel to site (intrastate) and support field crews (approx. 20%).
- Internal audit qualifications and experience in delivering formal HSE audits.
- Ability to be pro-active and effectively communicate to all levels of management.
