Cardno's APAC Environmental and Geosciences group is a team of 50 professionals, located across Australia and NZ.
Our team consists of specialists that deliver across the following discipline areas: Environmental Approvals and Post-Approvals; Environmental Compliance and Management Systems, Aquatic and Terrestrial Ecology, Sustainability, and Environmental Assessment and Site Remediation - Contaminated Land Engineering.
Our clients include international, commonwealth and state government entities, local and regional councils, and private sector corporations and organisations.
The types of projects we deliver range from major construction and infrastructure developments, heavy industry operations, renewable project approvals, resource sector decommissioning and rehabilitation, as well as, bespoke environmental investigations and assessments, and expert witness cases.
We are expanding capabilities across our Environmental Assessment and Site Remediation team and looking for an Experienced Environmental Scientist/Engineer with a background in contaminated land site assessments and site remediation.
You will work collaboratively within the APAC Environmental group, being "hands on" with project delivery, site investigations and remediation, technical report writing and preparation / review of proposals and provide professional advice to our clients.

This position can be located in any of our NSW offices or remotely working from home.
- Conducting site history and desktop research for contamination assessments and environmental constraints analyses
- Conducting field testing and sampling for environmental investigations including soil, soil vapour, surface water, wastewater and hydrogeological assessments
- Preparing proposals, reports and management plans
- Embrace end to end Program Management responsibilities
- Work collaboratively across our multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental project teams
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Environmental Discipline
- Technical knowledge in contaminated land and remediation technologies
- Previous experience in environmental investigations
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, strategic thinking, and "people" skills
- Driver Licence
