Your career at NAB is about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. Our Regional & Agribusiness team are looking for an experienced Business Banker to join them to manage a growing and diverse portfolio of Agribusiness SME customers.

In this role, a typical day for me will include:

  • Developing and managing a portfolio of key business banking customers and referral partners
  • Assessing economic value and risk potential of new business
  • Educating customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
  • Proactively calling on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities
  • Implementing initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
  • Working with customers on their proposed annual business plans
  • Preparing and submitting customer lending proposals
  • Working with team members

Ideally tertiary qualified with an agriculture or business-related discipline, your experience as a Commercial or Agribusiness Banking Manager with a comprehensive understanding of business/commercial and farm management practices will ensure your success in managing and growing this active portfolio of clients.

Located on the Murray River, Renmark is a prosperous town in the heart of the Riverland, where other towns of Berri, Loxton & Barmera are in close proximity. The region has all facilities including shopping centres, hospitals, schools, government offices, golf courses, hotels, clubs etc with Adelaide only 260 kms away and Mildura 150 kms away.

Renmark is growing community that is situated on the banks of the River Murray with the river being at the centre of the local leisure and sporting activities. The river also provides supplementary water for local agricultural enterprises that include growing Wine Grapes, Almonds, Citrus, Stone Fruit just to name a few. Cereal and sheep farming enterprises are also common in the region.

Renmark is an inclusive community and provides a great environment for individuals, couple and young families to live. There are many attractions in the region and during the summer months is a hive of activity with many visitors drawn to the region where they hire houseboats and often book out caravan parks.
