About the role:
This role will be responsible for the provision of complex mechanical services including scheduled and unscheduled installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of Water Corporation assets
What the role will involve:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and install components in water and wastewater systems
- Perform complex isolation and shutdown procedures
- Carry out maintenance tasks and problem solving
- Provide on-the-job training to apprentices and operators
- Plan and prepare for maintenance projects
- Advise operators on mechanical components
Key skills and experience:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Basic Rigging Certificate
- ‘MR’ Driver’s License
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification
- Considerable trade experience
