We are seeking an experienced senior financial analyst to join the Seqirus Finance team on a permanent full-time basis. Based at our new offices at Collins Square (subject to COVID restrictions), this role provides financial support to the Asia Pacific Commercial Team focusing on sales and margin reporting and expense reviews. Reporting to the Lead Commercial Business Partner - Asia Pacific, and working closely with stakeholders, the key responsibilities in this interesting role will include:
Reconciliation and oversight of sales reporting of both local and global reports;
Preparation and reconciliation of the Monthly Sales Report for Australia and New Zealand financial accounts;
Preparation and reconciliation of the monthly sales reporting in accordance with global requirements;
Preparation of monthly journals ensuring appropriate back-up;
Analysis of variances to budget and forecast to ensure financial objectives are met and identification of variances and input into corrective actions;
Participation in preparation of Commercial budgets and forecasts, including managing timelines and department managers;
Managing ongoing Royalty and margin adjustments with our In-Licence Partners in accordance with contractual obligations;
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must:
Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline;
Be CA or CPA qualified or close to completion thereof;
Possess minimum 5 years' experience in a similar analytical role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry and/or in a multi-national organisation;
Be knowledgeable of financial analytics and planning;
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and business acumen;
Be highly organised, proactive and driven for results;
Be an effective communicator and able to build successful relationships with all stakeholders.
