Transport for NSW is the lead agency of the NSW Transport cluster. Our role is to lead the development of a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities, centres and regions.
We are responsible for strategy, planning, policy, regulation, funding allocation and other non-service delivery functions for all modes of transport in NSW including road, rail, ferry, light rail, point to point, regional air, cycling and walking.
We focus on improving the customer experience and contract public and private operators to deliver customer-focused transport services on our behalf.
We also lead the procurement of transport infrastructure and oversee delivery through project delivery offices and industry delivery partners.

Our organisation – Transport for NSW – is comprised of nine integrated divisions that focus on achieving community outcomes for the greater good and on putting our customers at the centre and our people at the heart of everything we do.
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan (ROM) division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
As the Director Regional Property and Asset Renewal, you will lead the delivery of a portfolio of regional property and asset renewal programs and projects. The role will lead the rail property access and leasing function, the development of strategies and plans to risk manage issues of land ownership across the Network and Assets property portfolio. You will also lead the execution of project management governance, reporting and framework to provide a holistic view of all program and project activity. You will foster collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with stream leaders and senior stakeholders and manage cross-functional collaboration within the project team
You are highly intellectual with developed influencing skills and a creative horsepower with a proven track record of people leadership to deliver strong outcomes. Ability to attract strong talent for a variety of roles and manage your team to do exceptional, highly motivated work, while getting your hands dirty along the way. You will have a demonstrated experience in working closely with State and Local Government in leveraging outcomes for the community with exposure to managing land and property portfolios with tertiary qualifications in Project Management. You will have an extensive experience in managing large complex property portfolio including building and land.
