About the role

The Branch Manager will be responsible to build the strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area. You will spend a large portion of your time utilising your business development skills to build long term connections with local community groups, stakeholders and partners to drive business opportunities for the Dee Why Branch. With a team of 6, you will use your strong people leadership skills to develop, coach and manage staff performance.

We are seeking candidates with a range of capabilities, and ideally with:

  • Demonstrated success within Business Banking
  • Generate loan approvals and deposits as specified in budgets and other key objectives as nominated and agreed
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop highly effective teams in a service environment
  • Demonstrated competence in achieving consistent sales results
  • Highly developed relationship building skills proactively developing valued internal and external networks and community partnerships
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Finance or related discipline will be advantageous
