About the role

Bendigo Bank’s Business division has resourced our teams to ensure we can provide the high level of service and ongoing relationships that our customers are looking for - and that gives us our competitive advantage.

Known internally as a Middle Market Officer you will support our Commercial Relationship Managers in the NSW team with the management of their portfolios. Portfolios consist of diverse business customers with complex commercial lending typically in the range of $750,000 - $10 million. This is a customer facing role where you will build strong relationships with our customers and have the opportunity to join in on customer visits. This role involves:

  • Financial analysis and completion of credit submissions and adherence to policy and procedures for all lending approvals
  • Conduct needs analysis to support cross selling opportunities
  • Ensure scheduled reviews are completed within agreed time limits
  • Drive portfolio growth by supporting your Relationship Managers to meet all revenue targets
  • Accurately maintain customer files, data and information

This is a full time, permanent position. This position can be based out of our Pitt Street office, but we work flexibly so talk to us about what that means to you.

Does this sound like you?

We are looking for someone who has customers front of mind in everything you do, plus:

  • Experience in the banking industry
  • Excellent financial acumen with credit and financial analysis skills with experience writing credit submissions
  • Sound understanding of commercial markets and commercial lending products and practices
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
