Sodexo are seeking an experienced part time Kitchen Hand to join our team located at North Paramatta, NSW.
As a Kitchen Hand you will support a committed and productive team in the delivery of healthy, creative and dietary specific meals for our 195 residents within the Aged Care sector. You will work 3 or 4 days per week across a 7 day roster with shifts ranging through the day.
Key duties will include back of house responsibilities such as cleaning, dish washing , maintenance of the kitchen areas and equipment, assisting the Chefs and basic food preparation.
You have back of house experience in a similar aged care/healthcare environment or possibly from the Education sector and be familiar with working in a large high volume production kitchens. You will be personable, friendly and pride yourself on your attention to detail. You can prioritize and multi-task throughout the day while working in a very busy environment, while always maintaining a positive attitude. You have excellent communication and personal presentation skills and you thrive on working in a team.
You will have a Food Handling Certificate.
