Sodexo have a number of permanent opportunities to join our remote mine site operations as a Village Manager working FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster, 11 hours per day. This is your chance to join an organisation at the forefront of innovative integrated solutions in the hospitality space.

About the job

As the Village Manager you will play a vital role in the successful running of village operations, reporting directly to the region's Operation Manager. You will be a skilled communicator with proven people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You will have the ability to build and support teams and be a safety leader with an understanding of HSE and HR legislation.

You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement systems, policies and procedures. Having confidence to be flexible and adaptable, jumping between conflicting priorities and deadline is essential.

You will be a hands on support to your site staff, lead by example and guide the team with your motivation, enthusiasm and professionalism.

Your leadership skills will be paramount to the successful running of our remote site villages.

About you

You will be an innovative thinker with a strong head for business and running projects, experience in a similar role is not essential as we are looking for people who consider the big picture and bring their perspective to our operations.

Previous people management and project management experience managing diverse teams and business units with over 4 years managerial experience will lead to success in this role. Should you have held a managerial role within hospitality, facility management or similar industry would be key transferable skills to our remote site operations.

Please note a current full WA Manual Driver’s licence is mandatory in order to operate our site vehicles.
