Based at Pooraka and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the objective of this role is to develop ongoing growth of internal and external customer relationships through sound communication and rapport building. The roles will also provide qualified leads, maintain and develop business relationships through the use of the Boral customer relationship management tool to support the sales team in their provision of valuable service to the customers of Boral Clay & Concrete.
Responsibilities will include:
- Initiating and developing sales communication with current and prospective customers via telephone
- Face to face customer service and sales;
- Continually update and ensure the relevance of data entered into the current sales database, based
- on results from outbound calls;
- Supporting the Sales team in market and customer analysis;
- Management of escalated customer concerns;
- Sales administration support including system maintenance of customer pricing.
- Invoice processing;
- Preparation and delivery of communications to customers, management, and suppliers.
We are seeking a person who is a quick thinker and can negotiate win-win solutions. The role involves the opportunity to develop, build, and grow professional relationships with a variety of customers throughout the Boral business.
Experience in outbound sales and managing customer interactions over the telephone while navigating on-line systems will be an advantage, however, the ability to consistently deliver high levels of Customer Service, balance customer, and company needs, and contribute positively as a Team player is essential.
