About the role
An exciting opportunity is on offer for a part-time Administration Officer to work within the Links to Early Learning Demonstration Project team.
This role is based at our Campbelltown Uniting office and is offered on a temporary part-time basis working 2 days per week until 30 June 2021 with some flexibility regarding days and hours but must be available Wednesdays.
As an Administration Officer you will:
- Undertake general administrational duties with a particular focus on Excel spread sheet creation & data maintenance
- Provide administration support and assistance to the L2EL Program across administrative tasks including some project responsibilities, maintaining efficient and up-to-date administrative systems
- Maintain systems to support effective and efficient maintenance of financial, equipment and WHS records
Your experience will tick the following boxes:
- Relevant qualifications and/or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a diverse and busy environment
- Good knowledge of business process ideology, including understanding of policies and their application
- Experience in Financial Management Systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office particularly with an ability to create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills
- Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of staff, both verbally and electronically
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues
- Proven experience in dealing with confidential issues
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Even better:
- Experience in WHS and/or Training
- Current NSW Driver’s License
- Understanding of Early Childhood services
- Awareness of issues faced by vulnerable children and families in South West Sydney
