Job Description

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor with bus driving or transport experience to join the team on our client's mine site based in the Pilbara on a FIFO 2 weeks on and 1 week off roster.

About the Role:

The role will be responsible for but not limited to:

Supervising a team of bus drivers, monitoring daily runs, rostering of drivers' schedules, overseeing the servicing and maintenance of the buses and ordering of stock for the transport and bus driving team.

As a supervisor you will run pre-start meetings, will make sure training records are up to date and new drivers are trained to correct practices. This position will support the team with adhoc troubleshooting and further escalations. This position reports to both village manager and transport manager.

About you:

To be successful in this position it is essential you have Supervisory or Leading Hand experience within the transport industry. Have the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships and be able to create a positive engaged culture within your team, one that values safety at the forefront.

Our transport team work off tablets and App software therefore you will need to be computer & systems Savvy. It would be highly regarded if you have exposure to FIFO or remote bus driving services. It is essential you also hold a HR - PTD authorisation and have experience driving buses.
