As an account executive focused on one of our enterprise accounts (Australia Post), you will have the exciting opportunity to be a part of large scale transformation initiatives at Australia’s leading logistics and integrated services business.

Your responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of the customer’s unique business model and how AWS can help. You’ll also work closely with the AWS product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests specific for this vertical.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience with quota accountability and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets year over year.
  • Significant Enterprise account management or business development experience in the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding and direct field experience in working within the sector at executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and writing skill with the ability to be both technical and analytical.
  • Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • The right person will be technical and analytical, and possess several years of business development enterprise sales, or program/product management experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years enterprise sales or business development experience with quota accountability and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets year over year.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of the challenges in health and the opportunities they present for AWS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience interacting at CEO, Board, and senior levels within Government or commercial enterprises
• Experience working with Australia Post in an Account Manager or related role
