We are currently seeking Wellness Advisors to join our team and bring some of the unique life experiences only the Pilbara has to offer.
As a Wellness Advisor you will be required to cover a number of different rosters and travel to various sites within remote WA. Flexibility is essential for this role along with the right attitude and experience. We have the following role open for an immediate commencement:
- Casual Wellness Advisor: the ultimate choice for flexibility! You will work away for up to 14 days (2 weeks) and play an integral part in the wellbeing of our village residents and staff.
About the role
Reporting to the WA Health & Wellness Manager your job is to implement and coordinate our regional Wellness program including holistic workplace programmes, coordinating sporting and social events, facilitating group exercise sessions and motivating employees.
You will play a pivotal role in creating a more socially connected environment and enrich the lives of the community through activities and services that instil a sense of pride, purpose, and dedication for the individual and the workforce in its entirety. You will be responsible for encouraging a moderate lifestyle, creating opportunities for people to engage in physical and recreational activities and be exposed to information to make better choices with regard to their health and wellbeing.
You will ideally be tertiary-qualified in Exercise Science or a related field, have Cert III & IV in Health and Fitness, Apply First Aid (previously Senior First Aid) maintained and current CPR certificate. You must be a competent user of Microsoft Word, MS Excel and ideally PowerPoint and Publisher.
You will bring proven experience in remote sites health promotion and have the ability to be a health and lifestyle role model for the team. You will be customer-focussed with the ability to work autonomously to deliver our health and lifestyle service offering.
