Your Opportunity:

Join one of Philips’ fastest growing business units. Focused on developing and implementing a full Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) and more for health systems, hospitals and clinics. Our EMR system is both clinical as well as financial and stimulates efficiency and cost effectiveness.

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be the ambassador for Philips when it comes to implementing the EMR systems at our customer sites. You understand the importance of these systems and take responsibility by providing necessary inputs during system go live. This role will offer you the exposure across the full remit of EMR, allowing you the opportunity to fully customize the system to deliver exceptionally tailored end to end solutions for the customer.

You are responsible for

  • Deployment and implementation of the Patient Administration and related back office functionalities of the Philips EMR/Health Management System;

  • Documenting progress and effort on tasks, following the established methodology;

  • Mapping customer needs to existing workflows in the solution, and identifying gaps for development or configuration;

  • Configuring the software to align with the customer’s workflows;

  • Acting as the bridge between the customer and the global development team within Philips;

  • Working as part of a team to design deliver and test interfaces;

  • Creating reports for analysis trends and opportunities to develop.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong experience in hospital operations and/or Revenue Cycle Management(RCM)/clinical costings;

  • Experience working directly for a vendor would be advantageous;

  • Strong understanding of hospital clinical processes in the Australian market;

  • Willingness to travel based on business requirements;

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
