Operationally focussed and driven towards excellence is what we need and we are now looking for a Traffic Operations Manager to lead our Auckland crew. Manage and execute all planned and unplanned works during the shifts, under the guidance of the TTM Manager.

About the role
This is a focal leadership role within the business where you will lead the Traffic Operations across Auckland to be a productive, commercially driven department, providing traffic management services to both internal and external customers across Auckland. You’ll build relationships with our stakeholders and work with them to make sure Traffic Management requirements are met and promote innovative solutions in managing traffic. You’ll also ensure that all financial and business practises are applied to our operations and that they align with our company policies.

You’ll will be well versed in the upcoming changes to CoPTTM, changes to qualifications and be able to provide a high degree of support to implement these into the business.

We are looking for you to own the day to day operations of the department, grow it, shape it and challenge the status quo with your interpersonal skills, operational delivery capability and financial acumen.

About you
As an experienced Traffic Operations Manager, you’ll bring with you experience leading teams. You’ll easily be able to deal with unexpected events and provide direction to your team. You couple this with:

  • A proven track record of management experience with the responsibility and accountability for staff and plant
  • The ability to train and develop operational staff
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily chat with your team and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to a zero harm working environment
  • Class 1 full New Zealand drivers licence
