About the role
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to work in our Burswood office and assist with document management for one of our key infrastructure projects. As the suitable candidate for this role, your key focus will be to ensure the document control register is maintained in an organised and methodical manner and in accordance with the procedures and requirements of the project.
- Receipt, review and return of large volumes of drawings.
- Expediting the review and approval of documentation - working to very tight project deadlines.
- Issuing transmittals and receipts concerning documentation in circulation.
- Quality checking of deliverables received.
- Removing obsolete documents from distribution and use.
- Establishing and maintaining controlled copy sets.
- Maintaining the integrity of the document collaboration system, ensure its successful and effective use.
You will have
Previous experience in a similar position, having worked for construction contracting companies ideally. You will demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, along with experience with Asite or other cloud-based document management system preferred. In addition, candidates with exposure to vendor management will be viewed favourably. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a driven & motivated attitude. You will also demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
