About the role:
As the Clinical Applications Specialist, you will help drive growth and revenue for Philips Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC), by providing the highest level of education and clinical training on sleep apnoea treatment devices, noninvasive ventilation techniques and associated products. Within this role you will become a technical expert on the Philips SRC products, while supporting Hospital Account Managers in providing clinical and technical product expertise.
In this meaningful and multifaceted role, you will work closely with Hospital Sleep Labs/Respiratory Departments, (physicians, clinical staff, procurement, finance, biomedical engineering, lab technicians), and Physicians.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering a high level of clinical education and applications support to potential and existing Philips customers for all of Philips SRC products from diagnostics to therapy;
Support Account Managers by providing clinical decision support for products and solutions, including sales presentations, product demonstrations;
Train customers in case of new releases and updates to all SRC devices and patient interface including diagnostics;
Ventilation patient support in Sleepeasy Centres, Hospitals and when required with Healthcare professionals in the home, including patient monitoring where required;
Ensuring all Hospital Account Managers are trained and competent to support patients in best practice sleep apnoea diagnostics and treatment and non-invasive ventilation devices;
Work closely with Marketing for input on sales tools, pricing issues and competitive threats.
We are looking for
Bachelor level qualifications (Health Science) and strong Clinical background;
Strong knowledge or background in ventilation;
Clinical or paramedical background in Respiratory/Sleep Medicine;
Knowledge of medical devices.
