About the role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Personal Health business for an energetic and proactive individual to work alongside our retail partners and internal team members (Sales and Marketing) to drive best practice Retail Operations. This is a broad and diverse role, which contributes to the overall operations and effectiveness of our retail team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Philips products. Requires individual to build an in-depth knowledge of Philips categories;

  • Create PowerPoint presentations for internal and external presentations;

  • Run weekly excel reports and provide insights and recommendations;

  • Assist with the coordination of the Retail Operations budget which includes raising purchase orders, invoicing and assisting with reconciliations;

  • Support internal and external events/trainings: presenting content, booking rooms, organising samples, packing pallets, logistics, calendar invitations etc.;

  • Field queries from both internal and external parties. You will be a key point of contact for our Field Team when they have questions;

  • Support Retail Operations Manager with the development of point of sale and implementation plans

  • Liaise with sales and marketing to ensure all training documentation is kept up to date and reflects new/phase out products and communicated to applicable parties (external Agencies and Field Team)

Ideally, you will have:

  • A pro-active approach to work with a positive solution based ‘can do’ attitude

  • Previous experience working in a retail environment (electrical is preferred)

  • Intermediate understanding on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Presentation skills essential, must be able to confidently present

  • Team player who is willing to branch outside of role for the success of the team

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

  • Tertiary qualification, preferred

  • Experience working in a commercial office environment

  • Current driver’s license
