About the Role

An internal opportunity currently exists within the Retail Customer AML Team for a KYC Quality Control Analyst to assist with the uplift of the Banks On-going Customer Due Diligence (OCDD) requirements. Your focus on continuous improvement will benefit when you review and enhance practices to improve the KYC performance of the Retail Bank. This customer focused role will involve conducting outbound and inbound calls to ensure individual and non-individual customer details are current in accordance with BOQ's OCDD standards. In addition, you will act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and coaching to the team through quality assurance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contact customers in accordance with OCDD processes to verify and update primary KYC details
  • Accurately and effectively update customer details using key systems while meeting team and individual KPIs
  • Deliver on agreed daily call targets, communicate progress and resolve escalations
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information in line with internal policies
  • Support and motivate the team in meeting individual and team targets
  • Conduct call quality checks to ensure procedures are adequately followed and provide feedback as required
  • Assist the Manager with work allocation and tracking team performance
  • Assist with ad hoc KYC tasks

About You

To be considered for the role, you will possess strong knowledge and experience working across BOQ’s core banking systems (e.g. MyClient, CEP). In addition to this you will display the ability to:

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers
  • Maintain call quality standards and attention to detail
  • Work within defined policies and procedures
  • Coach and provide guidance to junior members of the team
  • Work within the changing needs of the business, our customers and people.
