About our Port Operations Cadetship
Building on the success and learnings from our Marine Cadetship program, we’re excited to be introducing landside cadetships. You’ll start with us as a Port Operations Cadet on a fixed term contract. Our new cadetships will provide valuable exposure across all of our landside operations including working within our teams at our Rail Terminal and Maritime Security Identification Centre (MSIC) while getting out and about with our Security and Port Operations teams. Over the Cadetship program you’ll also gain experience within our corporate office, learning about the broader organisation and how your role contributes to the big picture.

Our Port Operates 24/7. As a Port Operations Cadet, your hours of work will align with what's happening at the Port, meaning your starting and finishing time will flex between 6am—6pm. Within your first 6 months, you’ll also become part of our duty roster which will require you to work overtime/after hours and weekends to respond and work overtime.
