Application Support Analyst

As a start-up business inside Australia's largest liquor retailer, EndeavourX aims to bring the best of Endeavour Drinks to our customers, powered by our team, technology and data. To achieve our customer 1st strategy, we have combined the Digital & eCommerce businesses for Dan Murphy’s and BWS to transform the customer experience under one brand - EndeavourX.

With an industry-leading technology team, backed by analytics, we’re resourceful and willing to experiment. Our agile teams are empowered to innovate and deliver an awesome experience for our customers - no matter whether they choose to shop in-store, or online.

EndeavourX Hub is based 5 minutes walk from Central station with spaces for different activities such as collaboration, brainstorming or just chilling out playing ping pong. At EndeavourX, we also believe in flexible working, and our teams also have the option to work from home.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the maintenance and support of the application and cloud eco system to ensure Endeavour Drinks is operational 24/7.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in the on-call roster
  • Perform root-cause analysis of issues and recommend solutions from incident tickets
  • Proactively identifying improvements to solutions
  • Escalation, service restoration & Incident Management of Endeavour Applications and Systems, including all Endeavour Digital Platforms, Azure hosted Systems, Shared Serviced Based Systems, In-Store Digital Platforms & Endeavour ERP.
  • Configure systems and application events monitoring and alerting
  • Ensure a constant flow of communication on the progress of support related issues with key stakeholders
  • Continuous delivery of our Tech operational support services to meet agreed SLAs and KPIs


As our successful candidate you will understand how information flows through applications from an ecommerce perspective. You’ll have an analytical mindset and also be able to see the big picture. Eager to learn and take initiative by bringing new ideas to solutions and collaborating with your team members. Passion for problem solving and issue resolution with strong trouble-shooting.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data security, access controls and encryption is highly regarded
  • Experience working with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data is highly regarded
  • Experience in technical operations working with Cloud technologies (GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodology.
