About the role

At SUEZ our heavy vehicle drivers enjoy a sense of independence. You will have the freedom to get out on the road on a run or schedule that you will get to know back to front. Our team of professional managers, office staff and fellow drivers are here to support you every step of the way, providing you with first class training in waste maintenance, uniforms and ensuring your truck is properly maintained.

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Relief Waste Driver. As a driver who takes their responsibilities seriously, you will enjoy working with like-minded people who take pride in what they do. When your day is over, you’ll have plenty of time to relax. Our early starts mean you’ll have early finishes and more time with your family and friends.

About you

You will need:

  • A current HR driver’s licence
  • Acceptable references and driving record
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • To complete a pre-employment medical
  • Experience gained in the waste industry preferred, front lift experience a bonus

This position has a 3 am commencement time, which comes with an attractive hourly rate and other company benefits. The position will be based from Welshpool but will require flexibility to work from our other sites of Bibra Lake and Gnangara
