About the job
Sodexo is currently seeking a Service Attendant to join our team working full time at the Wuungkam Lodge in the community of Aurukun. This is a full time position. Working a 14 days on, 7 days off roster - 10 hours per day. Weipa locals encouraged to apply as we provide transport weekly to the Lodge.
Reporting to the Lodge Manager, you will have excellent customer service skills and an eye for detail. Your main responsibilities will be serving customers in the retail store, kitchen hand and food service, offsite cleaning, room cleaning and other utility tasks as required.
About you
You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic with exceptional communication skills. Be well presented at all times. Basic food safety knowledge in a hospitality environment preferred. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work without constant supervision. Current open manual licence and prior remote experience will be advantageous but is not compulsory
