About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a casual Catering Assistant to join our wonderful team in Springwood with hours varied over 7 days.
Our Client operates a 136 bed High, Low & Dementia Care Facility at Springwood in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
Your role will be to support the business in delivering a quality service and ensure a strong relationship is kept with client & Residents. You will provide and maintain the highest standards of food service, also ensuring the health & safety of Residents is never compromised.
Your responsibilities include -
- Creating positive customer service in an Aged Care environment
- Serving meals
- Preparing meal trays
- General cleaning and sanitizing
- Ensuring HSEQ standards are met and upheld
- Carrying out some administrative duties including daily food safety records
Previous experience is desirable however good customer service, allergen awareness, food hygiene and good time keeping and organisational skills are essential
