Sodexo is currently seeking qualified casual Service Attendants - Mine Site Cleaning for the Village and Facilities Management Services Weipa - Far North Queensland.
All candidates must either currently live or in the process of relocating to Weipa and surrounding areas.
Reporting to the Minesite Cleaning Supervisor, you will have excellent customer service skills and experience in mine site cleaning, housekeeping/cleaning in a commercial or hospitability environment is preferred. Even though the role is primarily mine site cleaning, successful candidates may be required to work across various area including but not limited to; housekeeping, dining room attendant or kitchenhand. Experience in the before mentioned fields is highly regarded. Casual roles with view to move to full time.
It is a requirement of this role to possess a current open (full) manual licence coupled with a positive can-do attitude.
You must have strong safety awareness and safe work ethic, as well as an exposure to and understanding of chemicals safety. You will have a readiness to commit to working various shifts and being on call.
