About the role:

Downer Defence are looking for an experienced Data Scientist/Database Developer to assist in the execution of a Defence cyber project.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Database design
• Database programming - SQL, RDBMS (eg. Postgres) and NRDBMS (eg. Splunk)
• Scripting - Bash and Python
• Report design and development
• Basic DBA

Peripheral Skills/Experience

• Software testing
• System and network administration

Security :

Due to client requirements, candidates must be Australian citizens with a minimum NV1 security clearance or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance prior to commencement of engagement. Applicants residing outside of Australia or non-citizens will not be considered.
