About the Role

As our Operational Risk Partner - People & Processes you will be a subject matter expert on People & Process risks within financial services where you will predominantly support and partner with our Retail Business. In this role you will provide training, support, guidance and advice to our Retail 1st line staff whilst proactively collaborating and assisting the business in the identification, assessment, mitigation, management and reporting of all operational risks which may include scenarios, issues, and incidents (all for both BAU and change).

In this role you will also be responsible for providing thought-leadership and support in the execution of assurance / oversight and change initiatives to positively and proactively assist in the management of operational risks, using continuous improvement methodologies.

About You

As a highly collaborative Operational Risk Partner you ensure that people and process risks are addressed through undertaking a comprehensive assessment against industry best practice. You have strong communication skills, both oral and written as you will be required to provide comprehensive reports to committees and the business.

You will be accountable for the design and maintenance of the risk assessment requirements, working with our Head of Operational Risk Frameworks where you take undertake holistic assessments of people and process risks. Enjoying partnering with your peers in our Operational Risk team to complete assessments, including ratings of their effectiveness, working with the DCRO to ensure we provide valuable insights you will be able to grow and develop your career at BoQ.
