About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Cost Planner to join us on an exciting infrastructure project in Melbourne, VIC. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan costs on a project, from feasibility through to procurement.

  • Cost negotiations, identifying, monitoring and managing the cost aspects of key project risks.

  • Establishing cost planning systems and processes.

  • Developing cost plans based on schematic design drawings

  • Managing and reviewing the cost aspects of variation and scope changes, and assisting with pricing tenders.

About you

  • Experienced Senior Cost Planner with a background in Quantity Surveying or Estimating.
  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar, and a contracting background.
  • Extensive experience in cost planning for Infrastrucutre projects - ideally road or rail.
