About Us
Prowine is a specialist contract wine bottling and wine packaging facility situated just outside Gawler on the edge of the Barossa Valley, South Australia. With 2 bottling lines and onsite Laboratory, our facility offers a one-stop bottling, labelling, storage, warehousing and distribution solution.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Shift Manager to join our Prowine business. You will act as a support to the Production Manager and be responsible for:
- Management of all Production activities on site, ensuring the weekly programs are achieved
- Ensuring that Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures are in place and adhered to
- Managing personnel coverage and rosters to ensure resources are allocated to each shift accordingly
- Ensuring compliance to HACCP and GMP principles and practices
- Utilising Lean principles to improve efficiencies and reduce waste
- Evaluate and manage performance of the Production/Quality Team Members
- Be actively involved in the Quality Systems Internal and External Audits as required.
- Liaise with customers when visiting the site and the upkeep of the production facility
- Manage the training of Production and Quality Team Members
Who we’re looking for
Our new Shift Manager will be driven and passionate, keen to get things done and able to make an impact in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for a team player with:
- A strong understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
- Relevant wine industry experience is desirable
- Experience developing, mentoring & coaching high performing teams
- Experience leading and implementing change in an FMCG environment
- Ability to change direction quickly in line with the needs of the business
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management
- Operational experience managing and executing the delivery of KPI’s, P&L’s and continuous improvements
